ScottishPower Foundation: SignHealth has been nominated for two awards!
We are proud to have been nominated for two awards.
ScottishPower Foundation has announced that our engagement manager, Robin Ash, has been shortlisted for a Community Champion Award. This is in recognition of the Deaf Health Roadshow. He’s travelled 20k miles all over the country, delivering 87 workshops so that deaf people know their health rights.
It is important to us to partner with so many deaf clubs and groups, meet face-to-face, gather feedback from the deaf community. Through these workshops we share resources so that together we can fight for equal access to healthcare.

The other award is for our whole organisation – the Innovation award for how we use technology to deliver inclusive staff and supporter communications.
We really appreciate being recognised in this way.
Thank you ScottishPower Foundation for the nominations and fingers crossed for the awards on 3 November!

UPDATE
Huge congratulations to Robin Ash for receiving the Community Champion Award at the ScottishPower Foundation Awards! This recognition means so much to whole engagement team at SignHealth. We appreciate the hard work and dedication Robin has shown to connect and champion feedback from the community. We are stronger together!
“This award motivates me to carry on delivering the Deaf Health Roadshow. Our workshops empower and equip the deaf community with knowledge about our rights and how to influence NHS services.”
– Robin Ash, Engagement Manager at SignHealth
