Role: Specialist Outreach Worker
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Location: Manchester
Hours: 16 hours per week
Report to: Service Manager

You will be expected to work a variety of different shifts which will also include, morning, afternoon, and evening and occasional night (nights depending on the needs of the clients) and weekends. As well as this you will be expected to work bank holidays.

Do you have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or the care certificate?
Here at SignHealth we are currently recruiting for people to join our team in taking on the exciting challenge of providing high quality health and social care support to Deaf individuals, many of whom who have mental health conditions.
We are looking for independent, dynamic, compassionate and hardworking individuals who are able to support individuals who are living in our community to help them become as independent as possible.
As an Outreach Worker you will undertake a range of tasks which include working closely with our clients developing supportive relationships, supporting clients in independent skills, emotional support, developing personalised plans and ensuring a professional service is maintained.
You will liaise with statutory authorities to fully access new referrals and review, social workers and other professionals. The work you will carry out is interesting, challenging and rewarding.
Due to the nature of this position you will need to have a minimum of level 2 British Sign Language, understand the importance of sensitive data and storing data in line with GDPR regulations, care regulations and the CQC.
If you have knowledge of safeguarding, working with young people, adults at risk or adults in crisis under your belt this would be helpful too– but not essential.
