Role: Specialist Support Worker
Salary: £13.85 per hour  
Location: Polestar, Birmingham
Deadline: 30 April 2026
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week with shifts including evenings, sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays when needed.

Two contracts available:

  1. A 2-year fixed term contract (FTC)
  2. Permanent position

About the role

Our service at Polestar residential care home in Birmingham supports clients who are deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions.

We are looking for people with:

  • NVQ level 2 or 3
  • British Sign Language (BSL) skills
