Tinnitus is ringing, buzzing, whistling and humming in the ears. The noises can be incredibly stressful, and affect both deaf and hearing people.

Tinnitus can be treated in different ways, with practical support such as special pillows, or with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

CBT is a type of ‘talking’ therapy that helps change the way you think. If tinnitus makes you feel angry, makes you very stressed, or stops you from sleeping, CBT can help you cope.
