Nurse Michelle describes changes to someone’s skin that can happen towards the end of life. You might notice that someone’s skin changes colour, looks mottled, blotchy or patchy, or feels cold to touch. These changes do not happen to everyone, and do not usually need treatment. If you have questions, it’s best to speak to a healthcare professional.
You might find some of the descriptions of skin changes in this video upsetting. If you do not feel ready to watch this video, you could come back to it another time.
