How healthy are deaf people?
Sick Of It is SignHealth’s ground-breaking report uncovering the health disparity deaf people face in the UK. Published in 2014, the report has influenced policy and changed practices in the NHS to improve communication and reduce barriers.

Most of the costs for the services we provide are covered by the NHS, local authority funding and other social services.
SignHealth’s Homes are established where there is an identified need and local authority support. Capital funding for the housing projects comes from the Housing Corporation and SignHealth funds the commissioning costs. Fees paid by Local Authorities for their clients cover operating costs.
SignHealth’s campaigns, research projects, overhead costs, administration, and communications are funded by the kind support of trust funds and grants, fundraising activities and donations.
