Surrey Deaf Pickleball Club is chosen as SignHealth’s 2025 team of the year!
We are are thrilled to announce Surrey Deaf Pickleball Club (SDPC) as our team of the year.
The deaf-led pickleball team is a welcoming and fun space for everyone, no matter their age or gender. Members range from 30 to 80 years old!
The club brings a new energy to the deaf community by creating opportunities to connect, get involved, and learn a new sport from deaf players who understand deaf culture.
These sessions offer more than just sport; they provide a space to promote mental wellbeing, and strengthen social bonds within deaf people in Surrey.
SDPC welcomed and kept 30 new members, demonstrating the club’s success in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all ages. This club provides an inclusive environment to all deaf people who want to learn a new sport and create new connections!
