I need urgent help

If you are distressed or cannot cope any longer, try to contact somebody now.

Is there a family member or a friend you could video call or contact them?

If your life is at risk right now

If you or anyone else is in immediate danger or harm, then please call the police or ambulance service on 999 or BSL 999.

Do you need medical or mental health help now?

If so, then it is important that you contact the right person – your GP is the best choice. They will help you to get specialist help. If your GP surgery is closed, their answer phone will direct you to the right place.

Call NHS 111 or BSL 111 if you need medical help or advice that is not life-threatening.

111 can support anyone who is feeling unsafe, distressed or worried about their mental health. They can also give information and advice about what to do if you’re worried about someone else.

If you would rather get help online, you can use 111 online.

Opening times: 24/7
