Learn how SignHealth supports the deaf community.
In January 2026, SignHealth was featured on BBC One’s programme, Lifeline, with presenter Rachel Shenton. The programme focused on SignHealth’s work and shared three impactful stories from Lucindha, Jackie*, and Jacob, highlighting how SignHealth has improved lives.
This was a valuable opportunity to showcase our work to a broader audience and raise awareness about the ongoing barriers to mental health and wellbeing support within our community.

The programme showed just how important deaf-led services are to our community. SignHealth’s therapy, domestic abuse, and children and young people’s services can save deaf peoples lives.
But we cannot continue supporting deaf people like Lucindha, Jackie*, and Jacob, without your help.
There are so many ways you can get involved and support SignHealth’s work, whether through donating, participating in a fundraising event, or encouraging your workplace to become a corporate partner. We cannot improve the health and wellbeing of our community without you.
Learn more about how you can get involved or send us an email or BSL video to fundraising@signhealth.org.uk
