One to One Wellbeing Support
Support for deaf children and young people
Are you age 11-17? Are you feeling a little bit low? Have you seen or experienced something that did not make you feel safe? Do you think that talking to someone might help with your confidence? Are you feeling unsure about things?
If something difficult happens to you, it can make things harder for you later on in your life. At SignHealth we want everybody to be safe and healthy, and achieve anything they want to.
Our team offer
We have a wellbeing support service for deaf young people. You can let us know you would like help. When we receive your support request, we will have a look, and will let you know what we can do. If we can support you, we will offer a few sessions online or in person depending on where you live.
- We can support with general wellbeing and things you might need to talk through.
- We cannot help with personal care or provide a service where you need someone with you to attend places.
We are not an emergency service and we cannot deal with very serious things. If it is an emergency, please tell someone who can support you straight away. Or view our list of other organisations that offer support.
We encourage you to let someone in your family or a teacher or wellbeing officer at your school or college know about how you are feeling too. They can also help you fill in the support request referral form.
It is very important that your private information like your name, address and phone number is kept private or safe. We will not share this information with other people unless we have to. We will keep your information in a secure place.
