Summaries of Government Briefings

Our 2 Minute Updates summarise major government Coronavirus briefings. You can find previous #2MinuteUpdate on our YouTube playlist and follow us to receive the latest BSL update.

A new national lockdown will take place in England from 5th November to 2nd December. Rules include:

  • You can only leave your home for certain reasons including education, work (if you can’t work from home), exercise, medical reasons, to shop for food and essentials, to care for others and to escape injury or harm
  • You should not mix with other households indoors
  • You can meet 1 other person from another household outdoors
  • All non-essential shops, bars and restaurants have to close. Takeaways and Click and Collect shops can stay open.
